Curi’s website offers a wide range of resources designed to help your practice mitigate risk, operate effectively, and serve your patients. We encourage you to take a look at what we have to offer. Here are a few of those tools:
Handbooks: Curi’s handbooks are among the most valuable resources we offer to practices. Our handbooks, which offer risk mitigation advice on key topics (with state-specific information when possible), address subjects such as treatment of minors, mandatory reporting requirements for your state, and patient termination. Access our handbooks here
Toolkits: Our toolkits cover many relevant topics for practices, offering a collection of relevant resources and guidance. The toolkits include General Compliance and HIPAA, Top Ten Ways to Guarantee a Lawsuit, and Preparing for the Unpredictable. The recently updated Chronic Pain Toolkit is in a new dynamic, visually pleasing format. Access our Chronic Pain Toolkit here
Well-being: As part of our mission to help physicians in medicine, business, and life, we are dedicated to supporting physicians’ needs in the well-being space. Our new resources include two short surveys, one focused on individuals and the other created for the practice. After you complete either of the surveys, the tool provides you with a specific report offering key findings and a range of resources. Access our well-being resources here
Informed Consents: We offer a library of more than 400 informed consent templates, most of which are in both English and Spanish. These communication tools help you document your discussions with patients prior to a procedure or surgery. The collection also includes an informed refusal template, for those patients who opt out of their provider’s advice. Each consent form is available in Microsoft Word, which allows you to add your logo and integrate it in your EMR system. Access our informed consent forms here
Health Equity: Curi’s Health Equity resource page offers links to information and guidance about understanding health disparities, which can adversely affect patient care and health outcomes, as well as recordings of our health equity webinars. Access our health equity resources here
Risk Assessments: This updated tool offers a range of specialty- and situation-specific modules. After taking a module, you receive a report noting your performance on a risk scale, pointing out what you’re doing well, and offering suggestions for how to improve any areas that may need support. You will also have the option of asking for direct support from one of our Risk Advisors. Access our risk assessments here
We encourage you to reach out to our Risk Solutions team at risk.oncall@curi.com or 800-662-7917 if you’d like to learn more about any of these resources.
