State Prescription Drug Monitoring Programs
Prescription Drug Monitoring Programs (PDMP) are state-run databases that are used to verify prescribing and dispensing of controlled prescription drugs. They can be used to monitor for suspected abuse and diversion and can provide critical information about the patient’s prescription history. It is highly recommended that you visit your state’s program site and register for a login.
