Preparing for Second Round of Federal Paycheck Protection Program

With Congress in the final stages of negotiating a second round of Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) funds to help small businesses, we urge practices to be ready to apply as soon as the bill is signed into law, likely later this week. This will mean opening a line of communication with your bank and beginning to gather relevant paperwork (for reference, the PPP Borrower Application Form from round one is available here).

As a reminder, we are offering each Curi member practice a free consultation session of up to one hour with the team that contributed to our Business Resource Guide, Medical Management Associates, Inc., or  Smith Anderson.

For MMA, email curi@medicalmanagement.com, and for Smith Anderson, contact Robert Shaw at rshaw@smithlaw.com  or 919-260-2720. Please identify the name of your Curi-affiliated practice when you reach out.

News & Knowledge
All Curi recommendations are based on current CDC criteria at the time of publication. CDC guidance for SARS-CoV-2 infection may, or may not, be adopted by state and local health departments to respond to rapidly changing local circumstances. Providers should always check with their local health department to see if the CDC’s guidance on any given topic has been modified (particularly if more restrictive) from the CDC’s recommended guidelines. Follow this link https://www.cdc.gov/publichealthgateway/healthdirectories/index.html for contact information to your state/local health department. If local recommendations vary from those of the CDC, and you are unsure what recommendations to follow, then it is safer to follow the more restrictive guidelines/recommendations.
