The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has introduced a new online training series that aims to help providers apply the agency’s opioid prescribing guidelines for adults with chronic pain in the clinical setting. The first module, “Addressing the Opioid Epidemic: Recommendations from CDC,” is available now; seven other modules addressing a range of related topics will be released throughout the year.
